Portugal Film at IndieLisboa - International Film Festival [06/04/2016]

Portugal Film will this year be represented in IndieLisboa by four films - three shorts and one feature - in different competitions.

Ascension, by Pedro Peralta, has its world premiere at IndieLisboa where it will be shown in International Competition Shorts and National Competition Shorts.

Batrachian's Ballad, Leonor Teles' winner of the Golden Bear at Berlinale Shorts and more recently the Firebird Award at Hong Kong International Film Festival, will also be at the two main competitions for shorts - International Competition Shorts and National Competition Shorts - and its national premiere.

Macabre, the animated short directed by Jerónimo Rocha and João Miguel Real, will be taking part in the National Competition Shorts.

Treblinka, the most recent film from Sérgio Tréfaut, which will soon premiere at Vision du Réel, will be shown for the first time in Portugal as part of the National Competition Features.

Portugal Film - Lisbon Screenings

Lisbon Screenings present, from April 25th to 27th, a selection of new independent Portuguese films of different genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental) to international buyers, festival programmers and journalists invited exclusively to these screenings.
