Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth) selected at Berlinale [19/01/2018]

The Berlin International Film Festival announced its program today for the international short film competition for the 2018 edition of which is part of the film Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth) by David Pinheiro Vicente.

The film, distributed by Portugal Film - Portuguese Film Agency, is produced by the Lisbon Theater and Film School (ESTC) and was shot in a school context by a team of students. This is the first time that ESTC has a short film selected in the main competition of this important festival, which will take place between 15th and 25th February

Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth) is about the freshness of youth, the desire to discover yourself in the midst of others, the power and magic of Nature and those who walk aimlessly.

For almost all the members of the artistic and technical teams, this is a first film; a meeting between newly formed film students, eager to share their youthful vision and passion for cinema in the latter part of their own journey.
