Lisbon Screenings 2019 [05/05/2019]

This May, the Lisbon Screenings took place during IndieLisboa - International Film Festival, with the presence of programmers from the most important festivals and international distributors. In 2019 Portugal Film was attended by 27 international festivals / prominent industry entities such as: Hong Kong International Film Festival (China), FILMADRID (Spain), Venice International Film Critics' Week (Italy), Festival Novos Cinemas (Spain), Hamburg Short Film Festival (Germany), Documentaire sur grand écran (France), Cinéma du Réel (France), Art Film Fest in Slovakia (Slovakia), IDFA - International Documentary Film Festival (Netherlands), Visions du Réel (Switzerland), PÖFF Tallinn Black Nights (Estonia), REC Tarragona (Spain), Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival (Spain), Tenerife Shorts (Spain), Frames of Representation (UK), Valladolid International Film Festival (Spain), San Sebastian International Film Festival (Spain), Locarno Film Festival (Switzerland), BFI - London Film Festival (UK), International Film Festival Rotterdam - IFFR (Netherlands), Busan International Film Festival (South Korea), EYE Filmmuseum (Netherlands), Festival do Rio (Brazil), New York Film Festival (USA), Film Society Lincoln Center (USA), New Horizons Film Festival (Poland), and FID Marseille (France).

From the films presented at the screenings, A Pleasure, Comrades! by José Filipe Costa (Locarno 2019), Sacavém by Júlio Alves (New Horizons Film Festival das Busan International Film Festival), O Fim do Mundo by Basil da Cunha (Locarno 2019) and Reynard by Leonor Noivo (FID Marseille 2019), the previous acquired their international premieres.
