Luís Soares

Born in Lisbon, 1981. Works in animation since 2006 and teaches it since 2009. His first film Any Other Man, 2012, received the prizes Mikeldi d’Oro for best animation film at the festival Zinebi (Bilbau); Best Portuguese Film at the animation festival Cinanima; Brand New Award at IndieLisboa; Revelation Award at the Caminho do Cinema Português festival; and was nominated for the list of pre-selection for the European award Cartoon D’Or.
