Three shorts at cycle "Gulbenkian and the Portuguese Cinema" [09/06/2017]

Between 23 June and 17 July 2017, the cycle "Gulbenkian and the Portuguese Cinema" will take place in the second edition of the Jardim de Verão, a cultural program of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

The program is a sample of the work of national creators supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation between 2011 and 2016, curated by Miguel Valverde, highlighting some of the most interventionist filmmakers in the current national scene.

Ascension, by Pedro Peralta; Batrachian's Ballad by Leonor Teles and The Hunchback, by Gabriel Abrantes and Ben Rivers, all with Portugal Film distribution label, are part of the program.

Admission is free and subject to ticket collection on the day of the event. At the end of the screenings, there will be Q&As with the filmmakers. More information at link.
