Paula Rego: Obedience and Defiance at MK Gallery, in England [26/07/2019]

As part of MK Gallery's exhibition of Paula Rego's work since the 1960s, it being the first major retrospective of Rego’s work in England for over 20 years, the exhibition entitled "Obedience and Defiance" included other forms of art related to the artist's universe. From 13 June to 22 September 2019 there will be events programmed for the exhibition reflecting the influence of Paula Rego’s independent spirit of defiance: Collaborative, diverse and explorative, the path trailed by the generation of artists present, has been opened up and enlightened by Paula Rego’s beacon of creative autonomy and freedom.
Portugal Film is associated with the event providing the films that best represent this spirit. Thus, in collaboration with The Portuguese Conspiracy, and with the support of Camões Institute, the following films will be screend at MK Gallery, England:
