António Borges Correia's André's Eyes international premiere in Canada

Antonio Borges Correia's latest film, André's Eyes, premieres today in Canada. The film was selected for the international competition of the Festival Cinéma de la Ville de Québec.
The first session takes place today and it will be screened again on 24th September, at 19h.

André's Eyes, the first fiction film of the director best known for his documentaries, is based on real facts. The film tells the story of a family of a father of four who risks losing his paternity rights over his youngest. André, one of his children, leads the action with his anger. The filmmaker directs the characters with splendor and subtleness.

The film's world premiere was in IndieLisboa - International Independent Film Festival where it won three awards: Best Portuguese Feature, Árvore da Vida Award, and TAP Award.

Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec runs until 27th September. [21/09/2015]
