Denis Côté

Born in New Brunswick in Canada in 1973, Denis Côté studied film at Ahuntsic College in Montréal. He began his career producing and directing over a dozen low budget shorts whilst also working as a radio presenter and film critic for the Montréal weekly newspaper Ici. In 2005 he directed his first feature "Les États Nordiques", that won the Golden Leopard at Locarno. "Bestiaire" screened at the Berlinale Forum in 2012. In 2013, "Vic+Flo Saw A Bear" won a Silver Bear in Berlinale. "Joy Of Man's Desiring" was selected for Berlinale Forum in 2014.
