Leonardo Mouramateus
Leonardo Mouramateus (Fortaleza, 1991) Master in Multimedia Art by the University of Lisbon, he graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual at the Federal University of Ceará, maintaining permanent contact with the performing arts and dance dramaturgy. He wrote and directed films shown at several festivals such as Locarno, Viennale, IDFA, FidMarseille, Cinéma du Réel and Bafici. Retrospectives of his filmography were presented in Portugal, France, Colombia, and more recently at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. “Life lasts two days", his second feature film, received an honorable mention from the jury of the FIDMarseille international competition. “Greice”, his third film, is part of the 2024 Rotterdam Film Festival selection.
