Joana de Sousa

Joana de Sousa (Santarém, 1989) is a filmmaker and curator. Over the years, she has developed several interdisciplinary curatorial programs. She was a programmer at Doclisboa - International Film Festival from 2015 to 2023. Being part of its Direction, between 2019 and 2022. Currently works at Cinemateca Portuguesa, in the dissemination of the collection. She is also part of the artistic collective Rabbit Hole. Her films mainly deal with bodily perceptions, dreams and more-than-human explorations.
